In this on-going class we will use slideshows, hand-outs, and discussions to learn how to care for different animals. We will cover a different animal each week and it will be learner directed which animals we cover the following week. Rats: This week we will learn how to care for pet rats. This class will feature African Soft Furs and rats (adults and babies)! Puppies: This week we will learn how to care for puppies. This class will feature live dogs! Snakes: This week we will learn how to care for a ball python, rainbow boa and boa constructor. This class will feature a baby and adult ball python as well as a rainbow boa and boa constructor! Guinea pigs: This week we will learn how to care for Guinea pigs. Leopard Geckos: This week we will learn how to care for a Leopard gecko and see 3 Leopard Geckos!
Learning Goals
Students will understand the amount of time it takes to care for an animal to make an informed decision on if they think they'd be up to caring for it as a pet.

Parental Guidance
During lessons about snakes we will talk about how they eat live or frozen rodents.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
