Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Welcome to Individualized One on One Tutoring for Foundational Math and Reading Skills! Throughout our time together your learner will focus on strengthening their math and reading skills. Math skills include number sense, identifying numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, basic geometry, and other skills deemed necessary for success. Reading skills include phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, comprehension, and other skills deemed necessary for success. We will use resources with permission from the University of Florida Literacy Institute, including their new Foundations program, to help foster success and master reading. We will work on math skills in a variety of ways taking a multisensory approach.

This class will be highly individualized to meet your learners needs and help them gain confidence in their abilities. The first class will be for assessing your learners abilities and seeing where they need support. Any information you provide on your child's needs will be taken into account.
