This class is learner directed.  Whatever the student needs help with in math, he/she will bring it to class and we will work on it together to make it understandable and relieve the frustration.  We could cover multi-digit multiplication, long division, adding and subtracting fractions (both like and unlike), improper fractions and mixed numbers.  We could also look at geometry and algebra. In addition, we could work on word problems by looking for the action and code words. Whatever the learner needs to work on in elementary school math, we can work on together until he/she feels confident.
