This class is learner directed. Whatever the student needs help with in math, he/she will bring it to class and we will work on it together to make it understandable and relieve the frustration. We could cover multi-digit multiplication, long division, adding and subtracting fractions (both like and unlike), improper fractions and mixed numbers. We could also look at geometry and algebra. In addition, we could work on word problems by looking for the action and code words. Whatever the...

I have been an elementary school teacher for over 30 years - mostly in 3rd through 5th grades. But I have also been a substitute teacher in all elementary school grade levels.
Student brings whatever math book he/she is working on.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
