I have over fifteen years of experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school students in various subjects in both private and public settings. I have two degrees in criminal justice and graduated summa cum laude (4.0 GPA) in this subject manner. The topics found in this course setting and the curriculum that I will be using have been used by me over the last five years in both private and public high school settings.
This class is designed to teach students about the criminal justice system; please understand that terminology such as homicide, murder, sexual assaults, self-defense, and the death penalty will be discussed in this course. Students will learn what each term means via the criminal justice system and judicial system. Our class with reframe from personal opinion discussions when these topics are mentioned this is to eliminate any uncomfortable conversations between students.
