Class Experience

This class will introduce major characters in Greek Mythology and the stories that connect them. As we observe and analyze the characters, we will discuss their strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, we will discuss the character traits that have made these characters relatable and relevant throughout the centuries! 

This class will be dedicated to reading one heroic myths that carries a moral lesson. The story for this course is "Hercules and the 12 Labors," and it is in the form of a graphic novel. As we read we will discuss what role each character plays in the epic drama. Students should be prepared to read, watch movie clips, and discuss their takeaways from each myth.  

As a teacher, I hope to facilitate meaningful conversation so that students can arrive at their own intelligent conclusions. No materials are required, and no prior knowledge of Greek Mythology is required.
