Students who have attended Greek for beginners 1 can enroll for the second part of the course. WEEK 1 Learning verbs to be / there is/are and prepositions of place Jobs and Places Diphthongs vowels and consonants By the end of the week students will learn to read short paragraphs in Greek. WEEK 2: Simple dialogues:Ordering in a restaurant/Identifying food Everyday dialogues The week will end with role-plays among students. WEEK 3 : Articles definite and indefinite and nouns Colors /numbers 1-20 Parts of the house and objects By the end of the week students will make a project about parts of the house writing articles and nouns we have learned so far WEEK 4: Revision of all vocabulary and role-plays Feedback on the lesson will be posted in classroom of the course

My name is Sophie Dalkalitsi and I am a teacher of English and Greek language and literature . I am a native Greek - American and I live in Greece . I have a BA degree in English Language and literature and an MA in TESOL. I have been teaching English to young children , teenagers and adults for 20 years .
Teaching international students online has always been a challenging and thrilling experience for me .What I cherish the most is to engage my learners in all my courses and the bring the outside world in my online classroom. I organize courses and prepare learners on English literature and poetry, Modern Greek , Greek History and mythology , English as a second language . I love watching films , listening to music and most of my interests are incorporated in my lessons.
