In this class, we will discuss gratitude as a life skill and how to make it a part of your routine. Students will be guided in focusing on gratitude and creating a list of things that inspire that feeling. We will use writing and/or drawing exercises to start a gratitude journal that students can then use daily if desired. We will also practice a gratitude meditation.

Please bring to class: 1. Writing and/or drawing supplies For example: pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils or any other writing utensil that your child will enjoy using. 2. A piece of paper, a notebook or a journal.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I teach yoga and meditation. I am a homeschooling mom to my amazing 11 year old daughter.
I studied yoga and meditation at the ShambhavAnanda School of Yoga in Colorado. I continue to practice everyday because yoga and meditation help my body and my mind feel their best.
Yoga and meditation give us tools to help manage stress and to calm our minds. It also helps to stretch and strengthen our bodies.
I love to play music and make up fun yoga songs.
