Elementary Writing Fun: Write a Gratitude Journal

Learners will explore gratitude in this ongoing, weekly club and write about it in detail in a journal. Each week, learners will think about three things that they are thankful for in their lives. They will be encouraged to dig deeper into their choices through questions about who, what, where, when, why, and how (as applicable). The writing in the journal will be so much more than a mere list! Each reason to be grateful will be followed with a "because statement." For example: "I am...
