Class Experience
In this one-on-one session, students aged Kindergarten to grade 9 will work on an individual plan to develop and improve areas as identified by their parents. **Parents please contact me before the first class to notify me of the level of the child, current grade, and specific areas of need. Then, I will develop a flexible plan to work one-on-one with the student to develop the skills in reading, writing, math or the expressed area of need. My teaching style is very calm and supportive. The goals of this class are: *To increase the student's understanding of math, reading, and/or writing. *To increase the student's confidence in himself or herself on all future math and/or reading assessments *To improve the student's note taking abilities (This is often the key to success for many students)
Students should bring a notebook and pen or pencil to class daily.
