Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class, students will have a collaborative guided discussion on J.K. Rowling's novel, The Christmas Pig. We will complete a five finger retell, make self-to-text, text-to-text and text-to-world connections, and discuss literary devices in use, such as symbols. We will also discuss major themes present in the book. Finally, students will participate in a speed round, where they answer recall questions about the text. Please come having read the whole novel!
