These lessons will be individualized to meet the needs of your student. We can cover full school year curriculum or you can bring your learner's progress report to focus on areas in need of growth. I can also do an initial assessment to guide our future lessons. Topics will typically include, Number & Operations, Comparing, Place Value, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Time, Money, Estimating, Rounding, Graphs, Probability, Geometric Measurements, 2D and 3D shapes. I have experience tutoring children in kindergarten to 6th grade. I also have experience with learners with different learning availabilities. Week of March 5th Numbers and Operations Week of March 12th Addition and Subtraction Week of March 19th Multiplication Week of March 26th Division Week of April 2 Fractions (Weekly schedule can be modified to meet parent request/learners needs and abilities). #confidence

Hi, I specialize in teaching reading. It is my passion to introduce students to books and develop a love for reading in kids of all ages. I have a masters degree in education from Columbia University's Teachers College and a special education certificate in special education from Brooklyn College in New York City. I have worked as a peer tutor, as a test prep tutor, and as an Orton-Gillingham tutor, helping students overcome various reading difficulties to achieve their goals. I also worked as a reading teacher and a special education teacher at a title 1 charter school in NYC.
