In this private tutoring session, students will arrive with homework that they need help on. Students may come and going during these sessions. ***Please email photos to me prior to class beginning so that I have a chance to look at the problems and can be prepared. I enjoy using all learning modalities since all learners learn differently. If you do not, I will assess your child and give them problems to work through with me during class. My tutoring is structured in a laid-back environment, lots of encouragement, positivity, and celebrating successes! Math CAN BE FUN! I enjoy showing students just how much fun math can be. I will sing silly songs at times to help learners remember concepts and enjoy seeing students succeed. I have over 15 years of math teaching experience. I have been a private math tutor for 15 years and have taught 5-9th grade math as well as k-6 general education. All that I ask is that you come to class prepared and ready to be successful! Topics taught include: Addition Subtraction Multiplication Division Adding multiple numbers Subtracting multiple numbers Beginning multiplication Beginning division Word problems Pre-algebra Algebra 1 and 2 Geometry topics(depending on grade level) And much, much more.

I have my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Mild Intervention. I am a certified teacher, grades k-6. I am a former k-9 math teacher, k-6 elementary teacher, as well as a remediation teacher for k-6. Currently, I am a homeschooling mom who loves cooking and especially baking for my family and friends! I enjoy traveling, cooking, and teaching! I am so excited to teach with Outschool!
