As a dedicated and experienced educator, my passion lies in teaching high school math and elementary STEM! With two years of teaching experience on Outschool, coupled with years of online coding instruction, and the successful navigation of online public school teaching during the pandemic, I have honed my skills in creating engaging and effective virtual learning experiences.
Throughout my tenure as a public high school teacher, I gracefully tackled the challenges of teaching during the pandemic by adapting my instruction to ensure students received a top-notch education. Armed with a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree in applied math (both from UGA, GO DAWGS!), I bring a strong academic foundation to my teaching practice. Now, I teach upper elementary STEM at an International School and apply a globally minded approach to gifted education!
In my classes and tutoring sessions, I strive to cultivate a kind, encouraging, and uplifting environment for learning. My mission is to empower students and instilling confidence in their abilities while instilling a love for learning. By breaking down complex concepts and offering step-by-step guidance, I help students build their skills and accomplish their goals.
I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of education. I encourage students to embrace logical thinking, problem-solving, and perseverance not only in math but also in their daily lives. Together, we will navigate the captivating realm of mathematics, sharing laughter, and uncovering the potential within each and every student.
I look forward to joining you on this educational journey, where we will create a positive and enriching experience filled with growth, achievement, and resounding success.
Should you have any questions about scheduling or any of my classes, please feel free to reach out to me through direct message.
