Class Experience
This class can be adjusted to fit your student's needs. The fall semester of high school geometry can be difficult for students (even those that have typically always been great at math) because geometry requires you to know the definitions and theorems in order to apply them and solve the math problems. You won't be able to solve the problems without knowing how to properly set up the equations! Equation set up and understanding how and why they are set up that way is key to being successful...
The goal for these tutoring sessions is for your student to feel confident in their ability to get up the problems on their own.
I taught high school geometry for years and got my degree in applied math!
I can provide deltamath assignments as an additional resource for more practice problems on the given topic.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
