Over the holiday break is the PERFECT time to enroll your students in this course. In December, we will have finished our semester 1 content and will begin our semester 2 content in January. If your child is having difficulties in geometry and needs consistent additional support, this is the class for you! Students will learn about the basics of geometry, angle relationships created by transversals, how to write 2 column proofs, congruent triangle postulates, similar triangles postulates, relationships in triangles, ratios and proportions, special right triangle properties, and how to solve for missing sides and angles in right triangles.
I have a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics & a master's degree in public administration, both from UGA! I LOVE teaching math and began teaching high school geometry. I have taught summer school, remedial geometry, college prep, and honors! I have also taught SAT prep, prealgebra, algebra, and statistics, but geometry is my FAVORITE! I began teaching online hybrid lessons when Covid hit and started teaching on outschool in 2022. Join me for full curriculum lessons and help your students feel confident in geometry.
Homework Offered
Homework will be provides most days with answer keys provided. Homework will take approximately one hour (or less) per assignment. Homework will be practice problems that reinforce the lessons learned and will help your student feel confident in the material!1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
