Full curriculum for 8th Grade Math
In this course, we will work on 8th grade/ algebra I math topics. The first semester will meet for 14 weeks.

Beginner Level
In this course, students will learn 8th grade math and algebra in this 16 week course. This class offers a full curriculum. It is divided into two semesters.
This class will have live meetings. I will also provide worksheets and provide weekly homework. Students are expected to attend classes weekly (or watch class recordings if they miss a class) and finish their homework.
This course uses both khan academy and ixl. At the end of the class, the students will be allowed to play a five minute game based off the topic for that day.
Please message with any questions you may have on this course. Please note, Khan Academy is a free online learning website. IXL will be used as a screen share.
Class structure: 1) Greetings
2) short lesson on the topic (It will be teacher led using a dry erase board/ slide show/ power point presentation)
3) Each child will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
4) Kahoot game/ Blooket game/ gimlet for collaborative play / jeopardy for collaborative play based on the topicLearning Goals
Students will master concepts covered in 8th grade.
