Have you ever wanted to make bows, bouquets or your own boutonniere or corsage? This is the class for you! Students will make the following bow and flower arranging projects: 3 loop bow, package bow, boutonniere, pinned corsage, wristlet corsage, and bouquet. First, I will teach the basic supplies needed. I will show examples of different types of flowers used in flower arranging, including real and artificial flowers. Each week, students will gather their supplies and complete a project with me. This class is designed as a FLEX class to give each student the opportunity to work at their own pace and refer to the lesson videos again, if needed. Class Outline with Skills Taught *Note: Some projects will take longer than others. Corsages and bouquets will take longer to make than bows and boutonnieres. I recommend setting aside at least an hour on the day that you will be making your corsages and bouquet. Students will post pictures and/or videos of their projects. Students are encouraged to experiment and make additional bows/boutonnieres/corsages/bouquets with their supplies. I will give feedback to learner creations and create a special post each week for learners to post questions they have. Students are encouraged to give positive feedback to each other's creations and give each other suggestions. Student interaction is important in this class, because your creations will give everyone ideas for their own projects.
