FLEX Singing Class Level 1 - Voice Lessons for Pop, Broadway & Beyond!

Develop a deeper understanding of the voice, including how it works biologically and how to maintain vocal health.
Learn proper breathing and posture techniques to improve overall singing ability.
Identify personal preferences for vocal styles and develop an ear for healthy and effective singing.
Develop confidence in singing and performing in front of others.
Learn various vocal techniques, such as belting, head voice, switching registers, riffing, and scatting.
Learn to incorporate new techniques and styles into personal singing practice.
Develop skills in pitch matching, rhythm, and musical interpretation.
Receive constructive feedback from an experienced teacher and use it to improve personal singing skills.
Gain exposure to famous opera divas and divos and learn about their contributions to the world of singing.
Work independently and manage time effectively to complete assignments and challenges on a flexible schedule.

Students will be required to upload videos of themselves singing (can be selfie style). Occasionally students have issues uploading to the classroom and may need assistance from a guardian. 

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
