Students will learn how to use photography tools and techniques to capture a variety of awesome outdoor photographs no matter what the season. Whether you are traveling to visit natural wonders, going for walks around your neighborhood, or exploring your back yard, this class will give you the tools you need to not only take good snapshots, but understand the how and why of capturing amazing photos. In each of week-long sessions, students will learn how a different photographic technique can be applied to outdoor photography. Students will learn through a combination of Google Slides presentations, instructional videos, brief research assignments, and photographic challenges. Each week students will be required to: - Respond to discussion prompts on the OutSchool classroom. - Complete a research graphic organizer showing how they have explored the topic using either internet searches or resource links which I will provide. - Turn in at least five photos they have taken. - Complete an interactive visual Google quiz. I will respond to students' discussion posts, answer questions about the instructional slides, and return grades through OutSchool messaging. Each week I will also compile all photos which have been submitted by the deadline (Wednesday morning) and create a response video in which I analyze each student's photos, praise their successes, and give them tips on how to further improve their photography. **Schedule** September 6 - (No meeting.
