What's included
1 live meeting
20 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Our escape room participants will be astronauts sent into space to find and rescue two aliens trapped in their shrinking spaceship. Using age appropriate math multiplication and division skills, students will solve questions and clues together as a team to ignite a rocket, navigate space debris, unlock space ships, spin a planet...and more! This class will be done as a group of video participants. Clues will be read, timers will be ticking, and team work and positivity will be key. The general class outline is as follows: Introduction and Review of Escape Room Rules (3 Minutes): We will do an icebreaker activity and go over the escape room rules. Although not in a virtual escape room set, we will still have clues to be read out loud, timers counting down, on screen clues to be solved as a team, and questions are always encouraged. Escape Room (15 Minutes): Our escape room has six different roadblocks the escape room team must overcome. We will use the following curriculum skills to overcome these roadblocks: *multiplication within 100 *division within 100 *word problem deduction skills Wrap Up (2 Minutes): Team members will share accomplishments and receive their certificates. Alternatively, certificates will be attached as a file directly.
