**Learners should have a solid grasp of the basic multiplication and division facts.** In this class, we turn mental math into a superpower! This class is not about memorizing tables or repeating math drills; it's about building a deep understanding of how numbers work and learning to think like a mathematician. We aim to empower learners with tools and strategies to solve multi-digit multiplication and division strategies; mental math strategies that will last a lifetime. Each week will focus on a specific multiplication or division mental math strategy. Learners will be encouraged to solve problems, share their thinking with others and understand that there a multiple ways to solve a problem. Each week is a new adventure and content does not build on the previous session but rather challenges new thinking and a deeper understanding of numbers.
