Description
Class Experience
This class requires creative thinking, team problem solving skills, knowledge of the use maps, writing, reading, and story building skills as well as a heavy dose of imagination. Two art projects will be completed in class with a third as an optional out of class project. Learners will complete tasks individually and in groups. Prior knowledge of Cressida Cowells How to Train Your Dragon Books May be helpful, but is not necessary. Learners are welcome to research/explore materials from the "How to Train Your Dragon" or any other dragon lore found online or in books.
Students will write to, and receive messages from, characters in the narrative through google docs. Although we try to set time aside during each session to respond to the character's notes, learners may choose to save this element of the class for outside class time. Writing is essential if learners want to get information and clues from the characters.
