Creative Play Date: Sofia and Me
Class experience
Learners are encouraged to dress up in their most royal garments (craft aprons are encouraged to protect the garments while crafting!) to participate in this interactive Story and Craft session. This is the first in a series of Royal Creative Play Dates for young learners. Each session will explore the world of a favorite princess, discover a positive character trait or value the princess represents, and make a craft. Sofia the First was not born a princess...she became one when her mother...
This is a fun craft and story activity to engage learners to connect literacy to art and craft projects and apply positive character traits and values to their own lives.
Craft materials will be needed to make the amulet. Suggested materials: Cord (suggested: satin or elastic cord, no knot beading cord, etc) Bead (suggested: pony beads or with large holes to make stinging easier) Tear drop shaped pendant
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
NOTE: If you don't see a time that fits your schedule, please send a request with times that work for you! I am often able to accommodate suggestions. Since most of my classes depend on learner interaction, I will reach out to families enrolled...
