Class Experience

This class is scheduled as a self paced class. That means, we won't have any live meetings, but we will still interact with assignments and personal feedback.

This course is broken up into 7 different lessons. You will have a photo taking assignment after each lesson. After you have completed your assignment, you will upload your photo to the classroom for personal feedback. It is highly recommended that you complete your assignment and receive feedback before you go on to the next assignment.

Please Note: This is a hands on class that works best with students submitting photographs for discussion.

I've been a teacher in a traditional classroom since 2002. During that time, I have experience with pre-K through 8th grade. To further my interest in photography, I completed the New York Institute of Photography courses and received my certificate of completion in 2006. I've also completed several online training to strengthen my skills. I have photographed weddings, real estate, and portraits professionally but I absolutely love photographing nature and macro shots!
