Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
In this ongoing class, students will learn about a different type of cat each week (bobcats, tigers, leopards, servals, lynx, etc...) The class will begin with a discussion about the cat of the week (physical characteristics, diet, habitat, fun facts.) This will be presented through a vibrant slide show. I will ask the students open-ended questions and encourage them to participate and collaborate with their classmates.
Next, the students will participate in a group game, which varies each week (Trivia, Guess the Word, Venn Diagrams, Name that Picture, etc...)
Students will then draw/sketch the cat of the week. They may follow Ms. Erin step by step or go ahead on their own and create their own cat drawing.

This is an ongoing class. Students are welcome to join at any time. The material is not cumulative.

This is a beginner level zoology class. Students are not required to have any previous knowledge about cats in order to join.
