The Zoology Club: Let's Learn About Animals and Make Weekly Crafts

In this ongoing class, students will learn about a new animal each week. The students will learn about the animal's physical characteristics, habitat, diet, and some fun facts. They will engage in discussions about the animal through a vibrant slide show. They will use their new knowledge to participate in games (trivia games, guessing games, etc...) They will complete a simple craft for each animal. Some examples of animals covered are: horses, bearded dragon lizards, lovebirds, polar bears,...
Students will learn facts about a different animal each class. Students will be able to answer trivia questions about the animal studied. Students will complete a craft for each animal.

A supply list will be sent out at least one week before each class. Here are some examples of supplies you may need: Construction paper White paper Markers/colored pencils/crayons Scissors Glue (stick or liquid) Paint and paintbrushes If you are ever missing any of the materials, just let me know! There are always alternatives, or you can simply draw the animal of the week. Week of April 28: Red Foxes Supplies Needed: A paper plate OR white paper Scissors Glue Coloring/painting materials
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
