In this class, students will learn how to make beautiful cards with colorful papers and cardstock. Students will use a pattern designed by Mrs. Borton to make a simple but stunning design. This technique is a lot of fun because it produces results so quickly! Mrs. Borton is a patient teacher and explains the steps of making cards step-by-step. Some google slides will be used at the beginning of class, but most of class will be dedicated to creating between one and three cards. The class will be set up like a workshop. Students will see a demonstration of each step and then students will do each step. Students do not need any experience in card-making before taking this class. Students will be encouraged to mail their card to someone else!
Learning Goals
Students will be creative through making beautiful cards and will be encouraged to share those cards with others.
