Class Experience
Calling all animal lovers! 🦊🐱🐻🦋🐰 Level up your drawing skills and learn how to draw realistic animals during this this private 1-on-1 class. No experience necessary! Each week we will draw a different animal and learn scientific facts about the animal as we draw. It will be both educational and fun! Ms. Emily will guide you step-by-step throughout the class and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. We will cover things like sketching, shading, crosshatching, layering, colouring and blending techniques, as well learning about observation, anatomy, proportion, and symmetry. What we draw can be catered to your specific interests, but in general we will focus on learning how to draw realistically using animals as inspiration! There will be a preplanned syllabus that can be altered to include your requests. The world is your oyster and we can draw any animal you are interested in! Feel free to make requests! It is recommended that you use a sketchbook for this class to keep all of your drawings together. We will primarily use pencil on paper, but will also use coloured pencils when we are drawing colourful subjects, as well as pen or charcoal from time to time. *Please note refunds can't be given for missed classes without 48 hours advanced notice. Learning Goals
Students will improve their drawing skills by learning about observation, shading, layering, crosshatching, and more! They will also learn scientific facts about the subject we are drawing each class, so it will be both educational and fun!

Suggested Supplies: -Sketchbook -Pencil (any kind will work but 2B works well). -Eraser -Coloured Pencils -Black Pen -Charcoal sticks or charcoal pencil
