In this ongoing course, learners will learn what a bullet journal is and how to create a page layout. Each week we will work on a new page for our bullet journal. At the beginning of each month, we will work on a page that is dedicated to creating the monthly layout. Other page layouts we will work on include: my favorite things, favorite books, favorite movies/shows, days of the week/ months of the year-writing a calendar for the week, places I've been and so much more! This class will be easily adapted to fit the learners interests, so if your learner has a specific layout they want to work on, I want to hear about it! I will direct learners as we begin each class, but everyone's layout has the ability to be different and made into what YOU, the learner, want it to look like! So materials to have on hand: a bullet journal, pencils, colored pencils, ruler. I will send a dotted page pdf for those who do not have a bullet journal, please print a few extra sheets if you do not have a bullet journal yet. This class is created to teach your learner about a planner/calendar and how a bullet journal works. No prior bullet journaling experience is needed. Week 1: Beginning January 11th- we will begin with a sample days of the week layout Week 2: January 18th- we will create a layout for "my favorite things" Week 3: January 25th- we will create a favorite books we've read and a books I would like to read page Week 4: Feb 1st- we will work on a February page layout and if time permits a sample days of the week layout Week 5: Feb 8th- we will create a favorite tv shows and movies page Week 6: Feb 15th- we will work on creating a daily check list (this can be for chores or more of what a daily routine looks like for learner) Week 7: Feb 22nd- we will go over what a habit tracker looks like and what habits we can track (drinking water, reading daily, brushing our teeth, making our bed etc) Week 8: Mar 1st- we will create a March layout and as time permits a weekly layout Week 9: we will restart from week 2!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Tammyjo and I look forward to teaching your child!
I love teaching! I have been teaching in some capacity for 10+ years! I love to see the moment when it all clicks for a child, whether it's learning to read, learning the days of the week, learning the alphabet or creating a new game, it never stops putting a smile on my face! I graduated from Old Dominion University in 2012 and I have since been a director to a local non-profit and ran my own home preschool/daycare.
Fun fact about me, I am the mother to five girls!! Ages range from almost 13 years to six months!
A few classes you will see on my schedule are:
Teach Your Child to Read through Motions!-we will work through four letters at a time and be able to read three letter words at the end of each lesson!!
Fingerprint poster of the Alphabet-here we will create fingerprint for each letter with a beautiful hang-worthy poster to show for.
Poetry Teatime-where we will share a cup of tea and read fun poetry and in future classes, learn how to create our own poems!
For older students, there will be book club and games-including a class on creating your own game!
Classroom Policy:
Please note that if no learners are logged in to class within 10 minutes of the class starting, class will be considered completed for the day.
I will be mindful of our class time, however we may run over a few minutes or end a few minutes early depending on number of learners in the course and the content being taught.
When only one student is registered for a course, I will message parent about transferring student to another section. I will consider teaching a one on one course case by case.
