As students move through school and prepare for life after high school, they are faced with an onslaught of choices - small daily choices and much bigger choices with major consequences. Students can become overwhelmed by this, or be influenced by more confident peers to make decisions that are not in their best interest. In this course, students will learn multiple methods by which to evaluate a decision, weigh pros and cons, think of second and third order effects, and make a well-informed choice. This is part of building wisdom as a child grows up, and will help build their mature confidence. Please Note: If you don't see a section that is available below and works with your schedule, please send me a message - I will work with you to find a time that works!

This course is intended to teach methods for decision making only. It is not a course for discussing specific choices or situations such as sex, drugs, alcohol, crime, etc. If any of these topics arise, I will gently refer the student back to their parent for discussion and I will send a message directly to the parent so that they are aware.
