Class Experience

1. At least five words will be introduced to students in each meeting. 
2. Students will complete activities to support the learning and retention of the words.
3. Class Structure: Classmate Introduction, Words Introduction, Activities to Support Learning, Class Review, and Goodbyes
4. I believe in a fun and energetic learning environment for students. When students learn through play, they make meaningful connections with content.
5. Students will interact with one another throughout the class.
6. Students should know the letters of the alphabet before completing this class. The teacher will support students who are not proficient with letter recognition to ensure participation in the class.

Students will make connections between letters and words.
Students will be able to explore the spelling of grade-level words.
Students will spell grade-level words with minimal support.
