- We will explore the importance of being open to feelings - Early readers are introduced to a foundation of daily mindfulness practices. - Use illustrations to recognize the emotions of others -Explore the importance of being open to new experiences and ideas -Vocabulary introduced: focus, ignore, meditate, mindful, openness, relieved, stress, yoga -Students will be invited to make their own goals for openness -If there is time, students will participate in an elementary-aged yoga exercise

Parental Guidance
Appropriate for All: The seated yoga at the end of class will require an open space where students can move back from the desk/table. A warm-up will be given in the class. If there are any injuries or issues with any part of the body please inform me ahead of time so I can provide modifications.
