Hello and Welcome! In this 4-week ongoing class, you will learn about 8 different Black Inventors (2 inventors in each class). These inventors are names that you may not know which is the reason this class was created…to introduce you to some of America’s “unsung heroes”! Topics Covered: February 8: Otis Boykin and Marian R. Croak February 15: Marie Van Brittan Brown and Dr. Valerie L. Thomas February 22: George Crum and Alfred L. Cralle February 29: Lewis Latimer and Lisa Gelobter We will discuss the inventor, the invention and its contribution to our country! All of my classes are led with empathy, kindness, patience, and understanding. I will lead this class in the same manner. We will interact with each other throughout the class with an icebreaker and slides I've created specifically for these classes. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
