In this one-on-one class, I will help your learner identify their many different emotions and teach them how to self-regulate in a productive way.

Class experience

I am a Professional School Counselor and have worked with children and families for 14+ years.  During this time, I have provided many students with the proper tools to manage their anxious feelings.
As a Professional School Counselor for the past 14+ years, I have had the pleasure of working with all students both neurodivergent and neurotypical.  
Learners will need to have access to a printer 
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1. This class is suited for everyone and personal/sensitive subjects will not be discussed. 

2. As a reminder, per Outschool's class content policy: "Classes offering techniques to handle day-to-day stress or anxiety are allowed, but classes offering therapeutic support specifically for learners suffering from chronic anxiety or anxiety disorders would be a medical service."

3. This class is educational and designed to teach strategies to cope with anxious feelings. This class is not therapy and should not take the place of therapy. 
I have created my own icebreakers and slides to use for the duration of this class.
