This one-time class is excellent for young students who would like to learn more about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and all of the incredible things he did. This lesson will be about the history of Dr.King. I will be teaching about his life story, what he stood for and the changes he made in the United State of America. Students will learn the reasons why he is a very important historical figure. We will also talk about the different ways he is relevant in today's society. We will have discussions about this topic and play question games. Each student will be able to interact and share their thoughts and feelings. Since this topic is related to African American history we will have discussions about racism, inequality, and injustice. Students will understand how this applied to Dr. King's life and how it applies today. They will be able to kindly express their thoughts and opinions on this subject. This class could possibly go over 30 minutes, as I love to give all students the time speak if they chose to do so.

Parental Guidance
Students will learn about social injustice, racism and how it pertained to King's life. Students may bring up current events going on in America now, so please remember always to respect each students opinion.
