US Grade 4 - 7
Beginner Level
During our class meetings, we will get to view actual documents, or digital renderings of them, to get a feel for how to evaluate resources and how to take from them what we need in order to grow our family trees. Please see the syllabus for more information! I cannot wait to help you grow on your genealogy journey! Lauren Cannon
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to glean important information from important primary and secondary resources connected to their own genealogy.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Education from Western Carolina University
I have been conducting genealogy research since 2010 and I am obsessed! I will be getting my certification in the future, but for now I enjoy doing family research for friends, my brother in law, my coworkers, people who need help finding their biological families from all around the world, and helping anyone who is needing assistance with how to get started. I love doing genealogy research and going on family research road trips! If you are interested in having me do this for your family, I'll be happy to!
