Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to understand directions like left, right, cardinal directions, follow these directions, and we will learn to read a map.
Students will be asked to complete a simple activity for each class meeting to bring to class the next day for the first three classes. The final class is a fun wrap up to show off what we have learned. No homework the third night! Yay!
Paper and drawing/coloring materials.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will complete homework prior to each class and will be completing a class project which will be a method of assessment for the teacher.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents are always welcomed! Students may need assistance with some of the homework, but the hope is it is something they can create on their own to help parents out with not adding to their load. Students will be encouraged to share with their parents what they have created to feel proud of what they have accomplished and learned.
