Class Experience
Students will discuss what do they know about elephants. Talk about characteristics of the elephants, how long can their trunk grow, what do they eat, why are their foot designed they way they are? Pictures will be shown of elephants, discuss how they are different, look at a globe or world map and point to continents where the elephants can be found. Student will be challenged to demonstrate how elephants pick up or scoop like elephants do with their trunks. How heavy and tall are baby...
Students will explore the elephant and learn how elephants live, characteristics, why do they think elephants never forget.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
