Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Beginner - Advanced Level
This exciting one hour session, will focus on citizenship and entrepreneurship.
Each week will be directed/guided/dictated by the learner; so there is no weekly plan or curriculum; however, here are a list of topics available to cover in each session; learners are encouraged to bring props, costumes and puppets.
- Brainstorming roleplay and ideas for plays
- Lots of roleplay
- Acting for camera
- Idea to page to stage
- Putting together a skeleton play
- Puppet Shows
- Games
(See learning Goals below for the outcomes)

My teaching style for this session is very informal; I do however pull in the reins with a walkie-talkie if 'focus' is lost for a moment. There are four learning styles (Visual, Audio, Tacile and Kinetic) This class caters to all of them!
No knowledge or experience is needed for this class, just the willingness to fully participate with video on, working headphones & microphone; along with an energetic and friendly temperament; and lots of entusiasm.
WARNING: I am a very silly goose!

Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been an entrepreneur, reading specialist, actor, puppeteer, teacher and gamesmaster for over 30 years. As a teacher I have been making up games for my students and as a child I would think of them spontaneously. In these changing times learning is becoming static, there are 4 learning styles visual, audio, tactile and kinetic; the tactile and kinetic learner often gets left out. This class will create an Empowering (positive outlook all the time), Passionate (always willing, helpful and enthusiastic), Innovative (spontaneous thinker) Citizen (a model mentor to others)!
I love talking, which is why I made it my profession; I also have a diploma in Business Set-Up and I look forward to passing these skills on to your learner.
WARNING: Again I say, I am a very silly goose!
