Description
Class Experience
I’ve been a professional actor for the past 15 years and have my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Florida. Although my expertise is in all three areas of acting, singing and dancing, I believe that acting should be the most important focus of theatre training, as great storytelling is the ultimate goal of all three.
Homework will consist of researching plays for character development, monologue memorization and audition preparation.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Be advised that plays have a wide variety of material that is potentially mature and offensive. That said, I will do my best to discern and choose family friendly and non controversial pieces to work with. If a sensitive issue ever arises with a monologue assignment, please contact me and I will be happy to change the assignment.
Various plays that can be found online or at the library.
