Bastien Level 1, Part II My name is Pam Irwin and I teach music classes on Outschool. I have been a freelance music teacher for many years. I have also taught for several music stores and worked as a classroom music teacher. I currently teach flute, piano, harp, fife and recorder. This class is a continuation of the Bastien Level 1 series. Students should have completed Part I or be familiar with the following positions: Middle C, C position, low and middle G position and F Major...
Students will learn the following concepts - Diminuendo, I, V7 in G major, crescendo and decrescendo, use of the pedal, changing hand positions, dotted quarter notes, 8va and natural sign.
Homework Offered
Students will be assigned pieces in lesson and performance books, technical exercises in the technic book and written theory assignments in the theory book.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
