Dance with Miss Lauren on this magical ballet journey, "Into the Unknown"! In the first few minutes of class, learners will have the opportunity to connect with Miss Lauren by sharing their favorite Frozen character. We will begin our Ballet dance class with fun and engaging ballet warm up exercises that will wake up and stretch our bodies. We will learn basic Ballet positions and dance steps and then will continue to work on movement through basic motor skills in an engaging Ballet dance game. Next, we will move right along into a special Ballet dance, perfect for your tiny dancer! We will end with a fun game of Freeze Dance. A great creative outlet to get some energy out and build confidence! No dance experience necessary for this class.
Learning Goals
Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short ballet dance which will teach them various patterns. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!

Parental Guidance
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself.

Hello! I’m Miss Lauren and am a performer, educator, choreographer and former dance studio owner in Milton, VT. I'm a homeschooling mom to my two boys for the past 5 years and love teaching Math and English!
I am trained in various styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Acrobatics and hold a Bachelors Degree in Dance. I am also a professional for Dancing with the Stars Burlington and have graced the Flynn stage with my performance in 2019 and guest performance in 2022.
I provide wholesome dance classes where movement and music selection is always age appropriate. My main focus is to create a fun and energetic learning environment allowing kids to express themselves! I have been instructing children of all ages for 18 years and have loved every minute of it!
When not dancing, I can be found spending time with my husband and two boys. Dancing has always been my number one love and passion and is the fuel for my soul! I can’t wait to see you in my class! Now let’s get moving!
