Dance with me in this ongoing, Pre-Teen Tap Dance Class! We will learn a new choreographed dance each week! We will begin each class with a short standing warm up to get our ankles and feet moving! Warm up will also introduce some of the steps in our choreography for the week. All dance moves and music will be age appropriate. 9/8/24 - Oh the Thinks You Can Think 9/15/24 - Hit Me Up 9/22/24 - Flowers 9/29/24 - When I Rule the World 10/6/24 - No Class 10/13/24 - The Best of Both Worlds 10/20/24 - Hair Up 10/27/24 - You Can't Stop the Beat 11/3/24 - Hot Chocolate 11/10/24 - Fabulous 11/17/24 - Shot Gun 11/24/24 - Fabulous Feet 12/1/24 - Monkey Business 12/8/24 - Barbie Girl 12/15/24 - Supercali 12/22/24 - Star Wars 12/29/24 - Happy Feet 1/5/25 - The Beat 1/19/25 - Disco Mania 2/2/25 - Fresh Prince 2/9/25 - Sing, Sing, Sing 2/16/25 - Friends 2/23/25 - Our Favorite Son 3/2/25 - Man with a Hex 3/9/25 - Good Old Days 3/16/25 - Jet Set 3/23/25 - On Broadway Class will start over from the beginning No previous dance experience needed, however it is encouraged. Tap shoes are not mandatory, a pair of clean indoor sneakers work just fine!
Learning Goals
Your learn will learn beginner dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short dance each week which will teach them various patterns. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!Other Details
Parental Guidance
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself.

Hello! I’m Miss Lauren and am a performer, educator, choreographer and former dance studio owner in Milton, VT.
I am trained in various styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Acrobatics and hold a Bachelors Degree in Dance. I am also a professional for Dancing with the Stars Burlington and have graced the Flynn stage with my performance in 2019 and guest performance in 2022.
I provide wholesome dance classes where movement and music selection is always age appropriate. My main focus is to create a fun and energetic learning environment allowing kids to express themselves! I have been instructing children of all ages for 18 years and have loved every minute of it!
When not dancing, I can be found spending time with my husband and two boys. Dancing has always been my number one love and passion and is the fuel for my soul! I can’t wait to see you in my class! Now let’s get moving!
Please note: Transfer request can be accommodated if requested a least 24 hours before the section begins. This allows time to fill the spot in class that your child was holding. I also try to respond to messages within 48 hours.Reviews
