Class Experience

In this class, we will be embarking on an exciting journey through the ages of art history. We will explore different mediums, artists, and styles, providing a comprehensive overview of each era.

These sessions are not just about the artwork, but also about the artists themselves, their inspirations, and their impact on the art world.

It's not just about appreciating art for its aesthetic value, but also understanding its significance in our everyday lives. It is my goal to make art history a meaningful part of each student's learning journey.

**Please see the syllabus for a weekly breakdown of classes.
**I do encourage all students to leave their cameras on and actively participate in conversations. It makes class more fun!

Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
I took Art History 1 + 2 in college in conjunction with two humanity classes which I used to build the curriculum for this class. In addition to formal education, I also hold a specialization certificate in Modern and Contemporary Art from the Museum of Modern Art. I am an avid art museum visitor, having been to dozen s myself. Art has always been a passion of mine and I hope to instill a bit of that in others.
