In this fun and informative ongoing class, students will learn how to make persuasive arguments and practice presenting them. In each class we will pick a topic and practice crafting arguments around it. Students will learn to remain calm under pressure, utilize facts and evidence, use logic to anticipate rebuttals, and concede points when necessary. Students will gain valuable experience: • Presenting their own ideas in front of the class. • Answering a question from multiple perspectives. • Participating in competitive debates.
