This class will give each student an opportunity to show and talk about their pets. Pets of all types are welcome. If your pet is unable to be on zoom camera, a picture will work fine. I addition to sharing our pets, basic pet care will be discussed for a variety of species. The structure of the class will be guided, open sharing in a social, non-judgemental format. Learners do not need any special knowledge or experience. Please send the teacher an message of the animals you will be sharing prior to class.

Welcome! I love to help students learn new skills and explore topics of interest! I have been teaching for over 24 years and can’t wait to share my love of learning with you and your family. I am a Nationally Board-Certified Teacher and have my Ph.D. in Education.

My teaching philosophy is to do whatever it takes to help your child learn. I like to build on your child’s background knowledge and interests to get them excited about topics. When children are excited about a topic, they learn without even realizing it! Engaging learners make the process fun and exciting and create a foundation for a love of learning.
