My Doll and Me - Show and Tell - Social Class for Ages 3-8

In this 20-minute class, your child will bring his or her favorite doll to class to share with friends.  He or she can choose to bring a baby doll, an 18-inch doll (such as an American Girl doll), a Barbie, an action figure, or any other kind of doll that is special!
In our class, each child will have the opportunity to show the doll to the class and talk about what makes the doll special.  What is the doll's name?  Why is this doll special to you?  What do you like to do with your doll?  
While other students are sharing, your child will practice listening skills.  He or she may also ask the other students questions about their dolls.  The class will be muted as needed to allow all students the opportunity to share in an accepting, welcome environment.  
The class discussions may include:  how the dolls are similar, how the dolls are different, sorting dolls into categories, counting dolls, comparing colors of clothes, etc.
