Welcome to Alphabet Arts & Crafts, ⭐In this ongoing class, your child will learn/review the alphabet and beginning letter sounds through arts & crafts! Each class will include one letter and craft. There will also be a book, activity or song. ⭐ Children will learn to identify the alphabet, phonemic awareness/letter sounds, letter formation and connecting sounds to everyday objects. In addition, they will practice fine motor skills, creativity, social skills, work with a variety of materials, learn art techniques, types of art tools, all while having fun creating their alphabet artwork! Class Layout: -Hello Song to greet our friends! -Interactive book or activity. -Beginning letter sound song, objects that start with the letter and write the letter. -Fun letter art! We will be creative and make the letter into an animal or object! ⭐While making our crafts, we talk about the letter our craft starts with, the beginning sound the letter makes, how the letter is formed, materials we are using, sing letter songs, colors and shapes we are using and discuss items that start with the letter! ⭐I encourage each learner to use the colors they like, add additional materials and use their imagination and creativity to make their alphabet crafts their own! ⭐Class will end with students having the option to hold up their art for everyone to see! ⭐ Supply list is below and will also be posted weekly to the classroom with the letter art sheet. -Certified and Licensed Teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
