I am a licensed early childhood education teacher. I use a mix of props, activities, google slides, songs, movement, books and games to keep each learner engaged! My classroom uses a mix of choral responses, raising hands, and using thumbs up/down when answering questions. I make sure each learner is heard and gets a chance to speak. I gently encourage speaking but understand some students need time to feel comfortable. I make my classroom a place of engagement, learning, and fun hands-on experiences for each learner! I try not to mute students in class. However, if background noise needs to be minimized for an optimal learning experience; I may occasionally have to use mute. Please make sure your learner knows how to mute/un-mute as teachers cannot un-mute. A lot of optional worksheets, packets, activities, and flashcards are provided after class for more extended learning and fun! This preschool class ends in May. A new section will start in fall. May Themes: May 1 - Baby Animals May 8 - Insects and Bugs May 15 - Gardens and Flowers May 22 - Last Class - Alphabet Review This preschool follows the academic calendar of September-May Preschool classes resume in September with Letter A.
