• Students will learn about different materials used in art • They will learn about shading, blending and a variety of paints (watercolor and paint) • Learners will work on fine motor skills, social skills and art techniques. • Children will bring out their creativity and imagination when creating their art!
• I am a certified and licensed early childhood and elementary teacher with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. • Taught preschool and elementary children in both academic and art classes. • Participated in an art therapy program at children's hospital. •. Created and supervised large children's holiday events with an emphasis on arts and crafts.
1 file available upon enrollmentSupply List: Apple Basket: Three circles of white heavy paper, strips of brown construction paper, crayons, glue, watercolor paint, water and paint brush. Leaf Wreath: Paper Plate (center cut out), 5 simple leaves from leftover circle of plate, tissue paper squares, markers, glue, watercolor, water and paint brush. Painted Tree: Crayons, White Paper, Paints (rainbow colors) Detailed Supply Lists will be added to the classroom. Children are free to add any materials they would like to make their artwork their own creations!
Please assist your child with using small craft items, scissors, glue and other materials. We use paint for some of our crafts. Please have an art smock or old t-shirt, if needed. Thank you!
